Hello party people!
We figured it was time for a photo post... so here is: - Our Journey to Work
- Orientation at the Guesthouse
- Ate Cathy and Ate Erlene playing at Monsoon
- Korean Cooking Class
- Our First Project
|
On our way to work we see SO many colors and SO many people.
It's both nerve racking and fascinating.
It is always an adventure in Metro Manila!
... especially during rush hour... which is never predictable... |
|
Our first week was spent at the SILP Guesthouse doing orientation.
We met some lovely people and learned a lot! |
|
Work is just sooo stressful.... ;)
Korean Cooking Class with Ate Ann was so fun! We made noodles and dumplings. Yummy (or Sarap!" as we say in Tagalog.

The Kisumu Project trains leaders from the Kenyan Deaf population
to reach their community with the Gospel in their heart language.
It is a kingdom cause that we are overjoyed to help with.
These are illustrations used in a fundraising video that Colin and I have been working on.
I illustrate, Colin animates... it's a beautiful team effort! |
All in all, we are doing pretty well! We are sad to be leaving so soon for Malaysia, but we know that God will go before us. Please pray for our continued health and safety as well as our new relationships.
Love,
Rachel
